Synopsis

Actors read and recite passages by Ubaldo Bertoli, Dante Livio Bianco, Piero Calamandrei, Gino de Sanctis, Paul Eluard, Alfonso Gatto, Natalia Ginzburg, Corrado Govoni, Thomas Mann, Ferruccio Parri, Salvatore Quasimodo, Mario Tobino, and Elio Vittorini relating to the partisan resistance, the events that took place before, during, and after April 25, 1945, and the history of the partisan struggles. The title evokes one of the verses from Tobino's poem.
